GTA 6: My 5 big wishes for Rockstar!

I don’t think I’m going too far out on a limb when I say that I’m not the only one who is pretty hyped about GTA 6 and would love to explore the fictional Florida straight away.

After all, I grew up with the series, I played GTA 1 as a little boy (but shhhh)!

I experienced the release of GTA 5 in 2013 and played the title just like GTA Online on almost all available platforms. And I think many of you feel the same way, which is why the announcement of GTA 6 and its trailer was pretty awesome!

There were real emotions when the first pictures were shown, accompanied by the song Love is a long Road by Tom Petty.

So it’s clear that my requirements for GTA 6 are huge and that’s exactly why I’m sharing my 5 big wishes for GTA 6 in the following lines!

A huge, detailed game world

Clearly, I want a really good game world that resembles a playground where you can basically do just about anything. Rockstar has to incorporate many different and above all diverse locations such as a huge Miami or Vice City, many small towns scattered across the map, the Florida Keys, the Everglades with a large animal population and generally a lot of variety with the details typical of the series.

If Rockstar learns from its mistakes and knows how to fill the map even better than in GTA 5, then a big point on my wish list has already been fulfilled.

More accessible buildings

Okay, it’s kind of part of the game world, but I really dream that in GTA 6 there will be a lot more buildings to walk around and not just a nice backdrop.

So don’t get me wrong, I don’t have to go into every house and every apartment, but what about a huge airport that’s full of stores and from which NPCs really fly off on vacation? Or a hospital where nurses and doctors really go about their daily business?

Large variety of animals

I’ve already mentioned it, but I’d like to do it again because not only the flora but also the fauna is super important to me.

I already noticed in Red Dead 2 how much the different animals make the game world much more alive, and I don’t even want to mention the many possibilities such as hunting, fishing etc. at this point.

And GTA Online on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S now also has animals, which suddenly makes the title feel completely different, more alive.

I want to steer a container ship!

Sure, a GTA isn’t a GTA without cars! But Rockstar should really let off steam with GTA 6. And when I say let off steam, that’s exactly what I mean!

In addition to countless vehicles, whether on two, three, four or even more wheels, I want to be able to fly huge airliners and at the same time hijack gigantic container ships, as you’ve already seen in the trailer.

Okay, pretty big wishes, but let’s be honest: If I can’t steer the ship from the trailer myself and sail it into the harbor of Vice City, then I’ll take that personally Rockstar, I hope that was clearly expressed?

GTA 6 Online: Rockstar, please learn from your mistakes!

Maybe it’s still a bit early, but I still want to talk about it. I would like to see a multiplayer mode added to the single-player campaign that looks or feels fully developed right from the start and where there are lots of motivating things to do.

Rockstar still had a lot to learn with GTA Online, but now much of it can be implemented directly, which will hopefully make the multiplayer even better.

My secret wish for GTA 6!

Those were my five wishes, although I still have one more, which probably won’t be fulfilled, but you won’t be able to shut me up!

It would be so cool if you could leave the Earth’s atmosphere in special airplanes, jets or space shuttles to explore a part of space for at least one mission.

But then Rockstar would actually have to rebuild the entire Earth as a game world and … well, I’m digressing again, but it would be cool in any case.

But maybe I should concentrate on more realistic wishes again. I’d be happy if GTA 6 wasn’t quite so long in coming.

But now it’s your turn, what wishes do you have for GTA 6? Feel free to write to me in the comments!
