Current indications suggest that the release of GTA 6 is possibly planned for early 2025. However, Kotaku reports that it could also be delayed until the end of 2025 or even 2026.
Development delays with GTA 6?
Recently, Rockstar asked its employees to return to working in the office five days a week from April. However, this sudden change has been met with resistance and resentment from employees who fear that this is a disguised attempt to get rid of remote workers.
Although Rockstar states that safety and quality standards are the main reasons for returning to the office, the development of GTA 6 appears to be behind schedule. This is causing nervousness and concern among Rockstar’s management about a possible delay in the release date beyond 2025.
